UTBackup (Crashplan), is run by central ITS at UT, and provides a centralized backup solution for the UT Austin campus. UTBackup is available for current UT faculty and staff who have departmental technical support.

Locate CrashPlan: Find CrashPlan in the Windows Start menu.
Identify Your Device: You'll see a list of your devices. The top device is the one you are currently using (labeled "This Device").
Open Code42: To make changes or start a backup, select the Gear icon and choose "Open Code42."
Sign In: Log in to Code42 using your EID EID@eid.utexas.ed and password.
Server Information: If prompted for the server, enter:
