New A0V Worklists

As of July 2025 we have a new refined worklist uploaded to the IGRINS ATLAS observing account for observers to use.

When searching for A0V stars, observers should now use the ‘A0V_min_Kmag_7.wrk’ list. This list is preferable to use over old worklists because it includes more objects and has stricter inclusion requirements including:

  • No peculiar stars

  • No double stars

  • No spectroscopic binaries

  • No sub-giants or giants

  • No abnormal metal features

  • No interstellar absorption affects

  • Only A0V stars

See this manual or this page for instructions on creating your own worklists, uploading worklists to TCS, and using worklists on TCS.

The worklist is attached below along with a SIMAD query of all the objects (in a .csv file format) for those that are interested in exploring the A0V stars included in this work list in more detail.

Old A0V Worklists

These are the old A0V worklists (still uploaded to the IGRINS ATLAS observing account) but note that these worklists include stars that are not single, could have peculiar features, and may no longer be classified as A0V stars (made in 2015).
