will continue to be the same steps during future major macOS releases. At this time macOS Ventura is fully supported

At this time macOS Ventura has not been guaranteed to work with all UT systems. In support of IT Support Orgs that need to control end users upgrade schedule, the upgrade has been blocked globally until Jamf Site admins have verified it will is supported and works with core UT applications.

For admins, or any other parties that would like to upgrade to macOS Ventura Sonoma for testing, or any other reason we have enabled an Extension Attribute in Jamf Pro to allow a machine to upgrade to macOS Ventura Sonoma now.

Within Jamf Pro navigate to the machine you would like to upgrade on. Within the "Operating System" tab on the left you will see the new Extension Attribute for "Allow macOS Ventura upgrade (Sonoma)"

-By default this value is blank. Editing the inventory record and changing this status to "AllowYES" will exclude this machine from the restriction.

Once the machine has been set to "allowYES" you can upgrade the machine using any method to macOS VenturamacOS Sonoma.
