Retrieve Pull List

(to be done every morning Sunday - Friday)

  1. open Outlook Web App   https://office365.austin.utexas.edu  user name: pa6639  password:  *archpull1
  2. open mail -- NOTE: you must actually open the mail (double click) and not just preview it by selecting it. 
  3. print out email.  Note:  if there is no email, then make a note in the Completed Pull List binder. If there are is more than one email, then either it was missed or it was not filed (see next step)
  4. move email to the "Completed Pull List" folder.  place print out in the "Pull List" cubby.  This is where the Pull Items stage begins.
  5. Hand off the list to one of the student associates, they'll retrieve the books. 

Pull Items

  1. get pull list from the "Pull List" cubby
  2. write down your start time, date and initial
  3. supervisor
  4. retrieve the items from the stacks. 
  5. If you find the item, cross out the entry on the pull list.
  6. if you don't find the item, make a circle it, note that it was not in the stacks- "not found." Inform your supervisor. If you are the supervisor, perform a thorough search  
  7. check in items -   if it needs to be routed to another location select "IN TRANSIT".  NOTE: do not select "On Holds Shelf".  Print  Print the transit slip and place it , place the item on the hold shelf if a patrons name is printed on it. Put it in the mail .  If it stays in Architecture, print out slip and shelve on HOLDS shelfif a libraries name is printed on it.
