If you need to change your Outlook account or you need to add a second mailbox to Outlook, you can add a new profile.

1. Close Outlook.

2. From your Start menu, open the Control Panel.

3. Double-click Mail. (If you do not see Mail, click Switch to classic view on the left.)

4. Click Show Profiles.

5. Click Add.

6. Name your profile and click OK.

7. Check the “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” box and click Next.

8. Select “Microsoft Exchange” and click Next.

9. In the Microsoft Exchange Server field, type exchange.mccombs.utexas.edu.

10. If you are using a notebook computer and want to view your mail when disconnected to the network, make sure “Use Cached Exchange Mode” is checked, this will keep a snap shot of your mail from the last time you were connected to the server. If you are using a McCombs computer, uncheck "Use Cached Exchange Mode."

11. In the User Name field, type your msbaccount (for students), last name first initial (for Faculty and staff), or mailbox name (if adding a second mailbox).

12. Click Check Name.

13. The exchange server will change names and your name should appear in the User Name field.

14. Click Next.

15. Click Finish.

16. Select “Always use this profile” and select the new profile or “Prompt for a profile to be used” from the drop-down list.

17. Click OK.
