Adding An Account

  1. Open your device's Settings app.
  2. Select Passwords & accounts. Depending on your device, this may also be called Accounts or Users & accounts.
  3. Select Add account.
  4. Select Exchange.
  5. Enter your Microsoft 365 email address and select Next.
  6. You will be redirected to a University of Texas branded login screen.  Enter your UT EID (or Microsoft 365 email address) and password and select Sign In.
  7. If prompted, complete the multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirement.
  8. You may be prompted to provide your account with a descriptive name.
  9. Your account is now added and will begin syncing.

Removing An Account

  1. Open your device's Settings app.
  2. Select Passwords & accounts. Depending on your device, this may also be called Accounts or Users & accounts.
  3. Select your Microsoft 365 account.
  4. Select Delete account or Remove account.
  5. In the dialog that appears, select Remove account to confirm.

Gmail is the default email application preinstalled on Android phones.  This app can be used to view your Microsoft 365 email using the Exchange ActiveSync protocol.
