Intermediate Unix/Linux Home
Welcome to the Home page for the CBRS Intermediate Unix/Linux short course 9am - noon on Wednesday April 29 and Friday May 1.
This course builds on the concepts introduced in our Introduction to Unix/Linux course. As we review those concepts we'll extend them, especially concentrating on manipulating text We will also explore effective use of Unix tools such as cut, sort, awk, grep, sed, and perl.

The third short course in our Unix series, Advanced Bash Scripting will be offered Wednesday May 6 and Friday May 8, 9am - noon.
For more Linux practice in the context of bioinformatics analyses, the CBRS offers 4 or 5 half-day workshops with lots of hands-on experience.
