About Shared Credentials 

Shared Credentials are provided to AGOL users for departmental use and can be used by multiple individuals.

These credentials are shared on Stache where credential owners and credential users are managed. Administration of a departments shared AGOL credentials are the responsibility of the credential owner. 

Credential Owner 

Credential owners will be responsible for assigning access to shared credential through Stache, reinforcing data safety policies to credential users, and password updates on an annual basis or as-needed. Credential owner and credential users are listed on the right side panel of the shared credential Stache page. 

Credential User 

Credential users only have viewing access to shared credentials on Stache when added by a credential owner. Credential users can be added and removed by the credential owner at any time. Credential users will be responsible for accessing their shared credentials through Stache, exercising best data safety policies, and ensuring the integrity of the data that you have been entrusted to maintain.
