Edit Construction Advisory Map
For convenience LIS updates the construction zone geometry per the email provided to LIS and provide the URL to add to your construction advisory page. LIS is not responsible for updated the construction advisory information which includes traffic impacts, pedestrian access, and barrier free pedestrian access. The following the is step-by-step guide to edit this information.
Step-by-step Guide: Edit Construction Advisory Map
- Login to TRecs AGOL using the Project_Owner shared credentials found on Stache.
- Click on the Construction Advisory Map found under Popular University Content on the Home Page.
- Zoom to the desired construction zone area to create/delete/modify construction advisory information.
- Click the edit button found on the bottom of the right side panel to create a new construction advisory feature.
For Creating Construction Advisory
- In the editor box click Add Feature.
2. Select which construction advisory information you wish to create in the edit box.
3. Draw the geometry of the new feature in the desired location. Double click to complete the new features geometry.
4. Fill out the table information specific to the new feature.
5. Click Add.
For Editing Construction Advisory
- In the editor box click Add Feature.
2. Select the construction advisory information you wish to edit on the map.
3. Start Editing. Click and hold the plus sign in the middle of the feature to move the feature to a new location. Click feature twice to editing a features geometry (vertexes): Click and hold any orange circle (vertex) to move to a new location. Click and hold a white circle (midpoint) to move to a new location and create a new orange circle (vertex). For deleting part of a features geometry (vertexes): Right click any orange circle (vertex).
4. Click Update located at the bottom of the edit box.
For Deleting Construction Advisory
- In the editor box click Edit Feature.
2. Select feature you wish to delete on the map.
3. Click Delete located at the bottom of the edit box.
Helpful Tips
To change the category use the drop down arrow in the edit box.
Discarding New Feature: Users can discard a new feature with the following steps.
- Click the back arrow located at the top left of the edit box.
- Select Discard Feature located at the bottom of the edit box.
Eye Icon: Used to turn Layer visibility on and off.
Pencil Icon: Used to rename Web Map, Layers, or titles.
Collapse Panels: Both the left and right side panels can be collapsed to view more or the web map itself by clicking Collapse found at the bottom of both side panels.
