Directions

The GSAF is in Room 1.264 of the NMS building. 

If you are new to visiting the lab and are coming from off campus, the best place to park is the Speedway Garage (labeled "SWG" on campus maps): http://www.utexas.edu/maps/main/areas/comm.html – our building is labeled "MBB" on this map, a couple buildings south of the SWG.

Shipping instructions

Please include a print out of your approved Job submission sample manifest. Samples shipped to the GSAF should be sent in 1.5 mL tubes or 96 well plates and should be placed in some type of secondary container such as a box. If shipping plates each plate should be carefully packed.  We also recommend all shipments be made on dry ice, though high quality DNA is usually safe at ambient or cold packs.  It is best to ship samples M-W overnight. Please see our Sample Input Guidelines for how to mark your tubes and other sample input information. ALL tubes and plates must be clearly labeled with the job number, ie. “JA25000”.
