Low Voltage Electronics Enclosure (LVE)
All the electronic components found in the low-voltage electronics enclosure can be found here.
Fuse Box A
There will be one 12-port fusebox inside the LV Enclosure to power all LV components of the car. The fusebox will be powered by the Secondary Power Board.
Blackbody A (RTD Board)
The RTD detects the temperate sensors within the array
As of 2023, these sensors have not been implemented, but we left a spot for them within the LVE.
Horn Board (1-Channel Relay)
The horn board turns the horn on and off based on driver input. It is simply a 1-Channel Relay to toggle the state of the horn.
Raspberry Pi (Data Aq/Telemetry)
The Telemetry board is Data Acquisition's primary board, and it is used to communicate the status of the car to people outside.
The telemetry board will read CAN messages from the main car CAN line
Telemetry is connected through an Ethernet cable to a radio that as of 2023, Is kept in an enclosure behind the driver's seat
The ethernet cable should have its hole on the top of the electronics enclosure.
