in UTdirect, if a student employee has a message "PO8 not active" that likely means they haven't set up their payroll paperwork-nudge them to do so:

Complete your paycheck profile including your payroll information through UT direct. Also remember to select your preferred method for paycheck distribution (paperless direct deposit extremely recommended). Campus mail code is D7300.

For online conferences (screen sharing)

Designers (PCs) can initiate—as soon as they create it notice goes out to class (note faculty would need to be warned of this ahead of time so not alarmed)

downside: have to pick people I want to share collaboration with, can’t just blast whole class.  Produces a document; in line study sheet, via online chat

for a designer to add people to a collaborate group: designer, people, _ groups set, bucket of groups, invited to a collaboration.

(my) summary conferences may work well for exam review or smaller, established study groups that are inconvenient in location.  Not sure about trying it as the standard form…
