Menu items - how to create new

Go to Page Display-->Page Class and add class “ interior”; make sure to hit space before typing
Will there be a right-hand column? If yes, do nothing. If no, add class “no-right”
If you do not want this menu item to be visible in the navigation (aka a hidden menu item), go to Link Type-->Display in Menu-->No

Place underneath the correct “parent item” (option on right). This will help determine the URL.
Whatever the alias is of this new menu item will be the end of your URL, for example “spring-2020.” So let’s say you decide it should go Undergraduate Programs-->Advising-->Spring 2020, then your URL would be /undergraduate/advising/spring-2020
Last step is to go to the modules and find the left-hand menu for this section and add your new page

Use the search tools to sort by position “left”
Find the one titled “undergraduate programs” (if that is where this menu item ends up)
Under the “menu assignment” tab, click on your newly created menu item
