How to use the Microphones in Moody Communication classrooms

The following Moody Communication classrooms have microphones for voice reinforcement:

Choose a Microphone to use:  Wireless Lavaliere or Wireless Handheld

From the pull out drawer in the AV rack, choose a lavaliere or handheld microphone.


NOTE: YOU CAN NOT USE THE SAME COLORED MICROPHONES.

CHOOSE ONE RED AND ONE YELLOW


All the microphones are color-coded. Rooms with two microphones are colored RED and YELLOW

CMB 2.112A and DMC 2.106 and DMC 5.208 has four microphones: Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green

Turn on the microphone


The volume adjustment for the microphones is done using the audio mixer in the AV rack.

The channel for each "color" is indicated on each knob on the mixer. There is also a MASTER
VOLUME knob on the right side of the mixer.  

If you are having trouble with the microphones and are experiencing static / hiss in your audio

please make sure that you are not using the same colored microphones.

Also could be the battery. Ask Helpdesk for new

batteries for the mics.

Please turn off the microphones when class has concluded and return them to the drawer in the rack.
