Jamf - How to Set the Desktop Wallpaper and Other Configuration Profiles

Open JAMF

Choose Student Labs and Classrooms

Click on Standard Config and that is the profile we are using to change around how the desktop looks

Double click to open it and these are the settings that we are using
>Finder preferences

  • Finder >Commands that we want to be available

This is where we will turn off the Apple ID sign in
Siri setup
Enable console login

>Login Window
>Access settings

>Login Window >Script

Click on the x to set the configuration back to default of reset

Or leave these on


Once the configuration is set

Then you have to add what computers it'll get installed to

Click on the config file

Then choose Scope

Then Edit

Then Add

You can add individual computers or

Can choose
>Computer Groups

>choose add to add selected computer groups

We want to make sure the Smart Groups
COMM - Lab Computers and
COMM - Teaching Stations
