How to turn on the Crestron Surround Sound for a ProTools Mix CMB 4.122 4C

Click on Computer to Start the system



Then click on Advanced

Then click on Surround Sound

Surround & Mix Settings

 

 

For Speaker Modes choose 5.1



Projector input choose HDMI Mix Station Program

For Theatrical Reference 85db SPL

Turn all the way up the calibrated level is the max level

 

The REF and Theatrical buttons don’t do anything so leave those alone

Note THERE is A Programming BUG - if you don’t hear any audio out of the Surround speakers - mute and unmute the speakers using the touch panel.

That usually fixes it.

 

Do not use UN-MUTE ALL it doesn’t work.

For Theatrical Reference 85db SPL

ONE MORE PROGRAMMING BUG

If you don’t see any green levels on the volume press the button (minus) to turn down and then the green volume lines will appear.

 

This is a bug that we’re working on.

VERY IMPORTANT when you are recording you need to MUTE

the Crestron System or you will get BAD FEEDBACK
