Change default application (Win 11)
Open “Settings” in the Start Menu
Select “Apps” and then click on “Default Apps”
To change a specific file type, type the file extension name (PDF for example) in the search box and select that file type
Click “Choose a default”, select the preferred app, and then click “Set Default”
Alternatively, you can select an application from the list below, and it will list the file types it knows it can open. If the app isn’t selected for a desired file type, click that file type and select a different app.
