Card Access
To request card access to an electronic door in the Moody complex, a department administrator or the employee's supervisor should submit a Moody facilities request. Please provide the patron's full name, EID, the door(s) which they need access to, and any special instructions like an end date for the access or if the access should only be between certain hours.

Log in with your EID, click service catalog, and click Generic Request for Facilities Team.
Examples:
We have a new temporary employee in the Moody grants center. Please grant Jane Smith (EID: yxz123) to doors CMA 1.234 and 1.235 from Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm starting today until 10/17/2026.
Please give card access to all Journalism & Media doors to new professor Randy Jackson (EID: abc456). Professor Jackson should have 24/7 access.

Exterior Doors follow this schedule. All UT affiliates (faculty, staff, students) can access Moody College of Communication buildings 24/7 via the celebrated entrance using their UT ID card.
Moody BACS Door Groups:
Door groups are standard collections of door given repeatedly to a group of users. Feel free to suggest new groups if you find yourself requesting the same collection of doors repeatedly.
Example: New staffer Randy Jackson (EID: abc456) is starting work next week. Randy should have 24/7 access to the group of doors "KUT-Dock".
