Areas of Concentration
All Master’s students must complete requirements for a concentration in one of the following areas:
- Autism and Developmental Disabilities
- Early Childhood Special Education
The requirements detailed in this handbook are in force for all new students admitted for Master’s study in the Department of Special Education for the 2019-2020 academic year. Students who were previously admitted for Master’s study in the Department of Special Education may select previous or new area requirements. The student’s Academic Adviser must approve changes in area requirements and the Graduate Adviser must be notified of such changes.
