DDA Purchase Workflow (Gobi)

To find the loaded records look under Acquisitions>Advanced Tools>Patron Driven Acquisitions

Once you get there select the Manage PDA Profiles option then choose History then choose Imported Records option for the most recent load to see the records loaded

You can create a set here so you don't need to go through so many layers to find these (choose Save Query)

Edit bib and choose the following option: Tools>MARC Bibliographic>Add local portfolio

Now fill in the following:

1. General Information 

   1. Select Part of Electronic Collection and choose the appropriate one from the search:

      1. EBSCO Ebooks Perpetual

      2. Ebook Central Perpetual

2. Inventory and Linking Information

   1. Fill in parser parameters (see the Electronic Collection Mapping spreadsheet for details)

   2. Choose electronic material type (Book)

3. Notes

   1. Internal Note

      1. Fill in the user model using the spreadsheet for the exact language.

Hit Save and Done

Now look at the bib record and remove ALL 856s and Save and Release the record

Now go back to the record (use your set or if you know the title you can search for it)

Click on Portfolio List

Test access

Go back and edit the portfolio and change the access type to Perpetual and Save
