Rovo Testing
Welcome to the Rovo Test Documentation
Welcome, and thank you for helping us prepare Rovo for a wider rollout to the University Wiki Service on http://cloud.wikis.utexas.edu. Your feedback will help improve how Rovo works for the campus community.
Testing Rovo within the sandbox
The University Wiki Service test/sanbox site is not regularly synced with data from our production site. Syncing the data can take several days to complete and the site must have all apps and configurations manually added after the sync. However, any content added on the sandbox site will not be synced to the production site and may be deleted during at any time.
Suggested test activities
Ask Rovo questions about existing pages in the sandbox space and compare the responses to the source content.
Create a new test page with headings and sections, then ask Rovo to summarize or outline that page.
Edit an existing page and check how quickly Rovo reflects the changes in its answers.
Give Rovo a multi-step task related to wiki content, such as finding a page, summarizing it, and suggesting follow-up questions.
Ask Rovo about pages that should be out of scope or restricted and verify that it does not reveal content it should not access.
How to report issues
When you encounter an issue with Rovo, please submit a ticket by sending an email to wikihelp@utexas.edu.
To help the support team investigate, include the following details in your message:
A clear description of the issue you experienced, including what you were trying to do and what happened instead.
The URL of the Confluence page involved, if the issue relates to a specific page.
The name of the Rovo agent you interacted with, when applicable.
Any steps you can provide to reproduce the issue, along with any error messages that appeared.
