CLAB Memo 09-13-16
Front End Updates:
- Amazon server has been created. A communication between the server and local python program in a mac machine has been tested successfully. This communication is a request-reply ZeroMQ communication.
- Discuss about the user interface and scheduling page. The students will not have pop out window for typing the equations. Instead, we will provide multiple choice questions for them to do the prelab. Scheduling will signed up online by leader of the student team. Instructor will assign the time range of the opening.
- Experiment run-time page will have a video of testbed synchronized with the data plotting.
Back End Updates:
- Experiment Design: Research team has been working on identify the models and equations of the testbed system. Several members are now working on the simulation for testing controller design later.
- Hardware Setup: design to buy Apptronik's controller and PC to relaunch the testbed.
- Research: Research team will read more on formal methods in continuous domain (STL and dL). This will help the controller design for the experiment later.
To Do List:
- Research team will brainstorm the experiment design later this week after identifying the system models.
- Test Publish-Subscribe ZeroMQ communication between front and back end.
- Keep in touch with Apptronik for getting the controller and PC.
