Add users to REDCap project & grant user rights
Only supervisors (or lab members with supervisor permission) should add users & grant user rights to REDCap projects
How to add users to REDCap projects
Step 2: Left Sidebar
First, the user who will be added to the REDCap project must make an account with DellMed REDCap: https://redcap.dellmed.utexas.edu/.
After their account has been created, enter the REDCap project where you would like to add a user.
On the left sidebar, click “User Rights” (see image on left).
Type their UT EID in the “Add new user” bar. Then, click “+Add with custom rights.”
You can then edit their user rights by granting access to specific privileges.
Edit user rights for an existing user
Click User Rights in the Left Sidebar.
Under “Username,” click the user you would like to edit. Then click “Edit user privileges.”
After editing privileges, click “Save”.
