Computer Services will be pushing an update to McCombs printers with scan to email functionality on the mornings of Monday, August 7th and Tuesday, August 8th. This update will not require a printer restart or any action on your part.
This is a change in the infrastructure that sends your scans to email addresses. The email address your printer uses will be updated to an @utexas@utexas.edu address, reflecting the printer's room location. The process of scanning a document to email at a printer and your printer's address book are not changing. Additional details are available here.
