If you start a night for IGRINS observing and Atlas, the observing room computer, seems frozen you might need to power cycle the computer.
Atlas is located on the rack to the right of the observer’s desk in the observing room. See the yellow square below.
The power button is pictured below. To power cycle the computer if it has hung, hold the power button down until the computer turns off. After the computer has shut off, press the power button once. If the screens on the desk do not show the computer powering on, press the power button again as Atlas might require the power button to be pushed twice after a hard shutdown.
