all
  • OCLC announcement 6/19: WorldCat Entities URIs now automatically added to WorldCat records for newly controlled headings
    • New daily process automatically inserts the relevant $1 URI link or updates the existing link in $1 (if needed), thus keeping records current and enriched with the latest WorldCat Entities URIs.

    • Libraries can also receive enriched records by enabling the WorldCat Updates feature “Receive updates when $1 is modified” in WorldShare Collection Manager.
    • >> is UTL seeing these URIs come through Connexion exports to Alma?
    • >> should UTL enable WorldCat Updates feature in WorldShare Collection Manager?
