4A, B, C and D, which were traditional TV studios originally, has a Strand Dimmer system with a 20A twistlock grid - suggested power cords would be 20A twistlock to edison duplex/quadbox, 20A twistlock "pigtail" extenstions, and 20A two-fers. Wall modules and some grid modules have 50A outputs - suggested power cord would be 50A twistlock to edison duplex/quadbox. ALL FLOOR OUTLETS ARE 50AMP and NOT ON DIMMERS. THEY ARE ALWAYS HOT. Therefore, HMI Lights should only be plugged into the floor outlets and not the dimmable grid outlets.
4E is unique in which it does not have a hanging grid, but, in fact, has a catwalk with mounted power modules. These modules are both 20A and 50A and I suggest 20A twistlock to edison duplex/quadbox, 20A twistlock "pigtail" extenstions, 20A two-fers, 50A twistlock to edison duplex/quadbox. Wall modules are 20A and 100A - would suggest 20A twistlock to edison duplex/quadbox, 20A twistlock "pigtail" extenstions, 20A two-fers, and any Bates stage-pin or 100A two-fer paddles (I don't believe we carry Bates stage-pin in our inventory, but Olden certainly does.)
Of course, all of our studios have edison-based wall modules which will accommodate any of our edison-based instruments or extensions. I tell students the wall modules for the ENTIRE STUDIO total 20Amps. It's better they think that for real-world scenarios as well.
