THis document describes how to change settings in VLC media player to output audio to the MRI scanner speakers rather than headphones. Typically this is used to play MRI noise to the speakers.
Open the file you wish to play. MRI recording is saved at C:\Users\Public\Music\sfx\MRI 3T Scanner Noise | |
In VLC, click Tools > Preferences

At the bottom of the window, change "Show Settings" from Simple to All |  |
| Navigate toe Audio > Output Modules > WaveOut |  |
| Change "Select Audio Device" to "Line Out (Scarlett 6i6 USB" |  |
