The Department of Chemistry provides access to ChemDraw and ChemOffice+ (including a Signals Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) Individual Edition license) for the students, faculty, and staff of the University of Texas at Austin. The following steps will ensure the successful registration and installation of ChemDraw Professional 22 and ChemOffice+. 

Important: A UT email account is required.

ChemOffice+ and ChemDraw Professional 22.0

Account Registration

If you only wish to use ChemDraw Professional 22, you only need to follow the registration steps update the ChemDraw Professional 22 tab below. If you would like to use ChemOffice+ Cloud and the Signals Notebook, you must follows the registration steps under both the ChemDraw Professional 22 and ChemOffice+ Cloud and Signals ELN tabs below. 

Application Installation

ChemDraw Professional 22 and ChemOffice+ are available for macOS and Windows operating systems. The applications are bundled together into one installer, so follow the steps below for your computer's operating system to installed ChemDraw Professional 22 and ChemOffice+

Access your Signals ELN in a web browser

Login to Signals using your UT email and Signals ELN password here: https://chemdraweln.signalsnotebook.perkinelmer.cloud/elements/

NOTE: If you attempt to sign in to Signals here: https://signalsnotebook.perkinelmer.cloud/elements/ you may receive a message saying "You need a license to access this application. You do not have a valid license for this application. Please contact the System Administrator if you feel that this is an error."


FAQs


 I have a PerkinElmer Informatics account, but when I try to sign in, it says an account doesn't exist. What do I do?

As of October 2022, PerkinElmer has updated their login functionality for the PerkinElmer Download Center and existing users need to register again using the Account Registration steps for ChemDraw Professional 22 above. If you registered for ChemDraw using your UT email in the past, all of your licensing for previous versions of ChemDraw will transfer to the new account.
