ChemDraw/ChemOffice+

If you’ll only be using ChemDraw Professional, follow the registration steps under the ChemDraw tab to the left.

To use ChemDraw Collections and the Signals ELN, you must follow the registration steps under both the ChemDraw and ChemOffice+ tabs to the left. 

Register for ChemDraw Professional 23: Create a Revvity Signals Account

1. In your computer's web browser, go to the Revvity Signals ChemDraw Subscription Gallery: https://connect.revvitysignals.com/sitesubscription/

2. In the Search for Institution search box, search for and select University of Texas at Austin. 

3. Under Register to download the latest version of ChemDraw, click Register.

4. Fill out the User Registration fields using your UT email address, then click Submit.

5. Finish creating your account:

   1. In the email from Revvity with the subject line “Verify your email”, click Verify your email.

   2. In a second email from Revvity with the subject line “Welcome to the End-User Portal”, click Create Account to be redirected to the Revvity SIgnals login page in your web browser.

      1. If you never receive an email from Revvity about creating an account password, go to the Revvity Signals login page and click Forgot password? Then, open the URL in the password reset email.

   3. Under the New User tab of the Revvity Signals login page, enter your UT email and a password, then click Sign Up. 

      1. This password is your Revvity Signals password. 

      2. Note: This password must be different than your EID or UT email password!

Register for ChemDraw Collections and Signals ELN: Create a Revvity Signals ChemDraw Subscription Gallery / Signals ELN Account

1. In your computer's web browser go to the Revvity Signals ChemDraw Subscription Gallery: https://connect.revvitysignals.com/sitesubscription/

2. In the Search for Institution search box, search for and select University of Texas at Austin. 

3. Under Access Revvity Signals Cloud Applications, click Register.

4. Enter your UT email address, click Submit, then click Continue.

5. Enter your information under New User Registration, then click Register.

   1. This password is your Revvity Signals ChemDraw Subscription Gallery AND Signals ELN password.

   2. Note: This password must be different than your EID or UT email password!

6. Within the email from Revvity, follow the instructions to complete the account verification.

   1. If you don't receive the account verification email from Revvity, check your Spam or Junk email folders.

ChemDraw Professional 23 and ChemDraw Collections are available for macOS and Windows operating systems. Select the tab to the left for your operating system for instructions to install and activate.

ChemDraw Professional 23 and ChemDraw Collections are bundled into a single installer, but each application is activated individually.

macOS

Install

1. In your computer's web browser, login to the Revvity Signals Download Center using your Revvity Signals account: https://revvitysignals.flexnetoperations.com/

   1. If you don't have a Revvity Signals account or receive an error that an account with that email address does not exist, follow the account registration steps in the ChemDraw Professional tab above.

2. On the left side, click List Downloads, then click ChemOffice+ Cloud STD & SNB Bundle. 

3. On the Download Packages page, click ChemOffice+ Cloud Standard and SNB Bundle. 

4. Click the cd23.1.1.dmg under File Name next to Mac OSX Installer for ChemDraw Professional v23.1. Do NOT close the browser window. 

   1. Note: you may see different version numbers if Revvity Signals has released an application update.

5. Open the downloaded .dmg file. Drag and drop ChemDraw 23.1.1 and/or ChemOffice+ into the Applications folder. 

Activate ChemDraw Professional

1. Open ChemDraw Professional 23 from Applications.

   1. If prompted with a window saying ""ChemDraw 23.1.1" is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?", click Open. 

2. In the Activate ChemDraw window, select Activation Code then Continue.

3. Fill in the information described below, then click Activate.

   1. Name: Your name

   2. Organization: University of Texas at Austin

   3. Email: Your UT email

   4. Activation code: 

      1. Back in your web browser, click List Entitlements on the left side under Activation & Entitlements. 

      2. Use the Product_Activation code for ChemOffice+ Cloud Std/SNB Bundle. LGE Aca Institutional Sub.

   5. Select Activate or deactivate online

4. A window should open saying You have successfully activated ChemDraw with a license for ChemOffice Professional. Click OK.

5. You'll be prompted to choose a location for personalized files. Click Install to use the default location (recommended), or click Choose Custom Location... if desired. 

6. If taken to the Activate ChemDraw window again, click Activate and ChemDraw should open a new, blank file and the ChemDraw toolbars. 

Activate ChemDraw Collections

1. Open ChemDraw Collections from Applications.

   1. If prompted with a window saying "ChemDraw Collections" is an app downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?", click Open.

2. For the Signals URL enter https://chemdraweln.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/ and click Sign In. 

3. Your web browser will open to the Signals Notebook login page. Login using your Revvity Signals ELN account credentials, then when/if prompted to allow ChemDraw Collections to access your Signals Notebook, click Allow. 

   1. To create a Revvity Signals ELN account, follow the registration steps under the ChemDraw Collections tab above.

   2. Note: do not refresh your browser tab because it will prevent the login being passed from your browser to ChemDraw Collections. Some password manager browser extensions can cause this issue if they refresh the page before autofilling information.

4. Your web browser will redirect to the ChemDraw Collections application and activate.

Windows

Install

1. In your computer's web browser, login to the Revvity Signals Download Center using your Revvity Signals account: https://revvitysignals.flexnetoperations.com/

   1. If you don't have a Revvity Signals account or receive an error that an account with that email address does not exist, follow the account registration steps in the for ChemDraw Professional tab above.

2. On the left side, click List Downloads, then click ChemOffice+ Cloud STD & SNB Bundle. 

3. On the Download Packages page, click ChemOffice+ Cloud Standard and SNB Bundle. 

4. Click the ChemDraw_Suite_23.1.1.exe under File Name next to PC Windows Installer for ChemDraw Suite v23.1. Do NOT close the browser window. 

   1. Note: you may see different version numbers if Revvity has released an application update.

5. Open the downloaded .exe file and complete the steps as guided by the installation wizard. You can use the default options or customize as needed. 

Activate ChemDraw Professional

1. On your Desktop, use the shortcut to open ChemDraw Professional 23.1.1 64-Bit or, search for and open it from the Stat Menu.

   1. IMPORTANT: Your computer may default to finding or opening ChemDraw Collections, but you want ChemDraw 23.1.1

2. In the window that opens, choose to activate using an Activation Code.

3. In the Activate ChemDraw window, fill in the information described below, then click Activate.

   1. Name: Your name

   2. Organization: University of Texas at Austin

   3. Email: Your UT email

   4. Activation code: 

      1. Back in your web browser, click List Entitlements on the left side under Activation & Entitlements. 

      2. Use the Product_Activation code for ChemOffice+ Cloud Std/SNB Bundle. LGE Aca Institutional Sub.

         1. If you receive a message saying "Activation succeeded but no activated licenses were found", use the Product_Activation code for ChemOffice+ Cloud Standard/Signals Notebook Bundle. Subscription, includes Support and Maintenance (L). 

   5. Select Activate or deactivate online.

Activate ChemDraw Collections

1. Open ChemDraw Collections from the Start Menu.

2. For the Signals URL enter https://chemdraweln.signalsresearch.revvitycloud.com/ and click Sign In. 

3. Your web browser will open to the Signals Notebook login page. Login using your Revvity Signals ELN account credentials, then when/if prompted to allow ChemDraw Collections to access your Signals Notebook, click Allow. 

   1. To create a Revvity Signals ELN account, follow the registration steps under the ChemDraw Collections tab above.
