Printing Gift Membership TYs/Notices and Replacement Cards

Things to Remember

  • When you have a stack of memberships to print, pull out the gift memberships and do those first.
  • Include 2 guest passes with the letter to the gift giver.
  • These instructions can also be used to reprint membership cards. You just select the One Off 1 or 2 Card template.


Printing Gift Memberships TY Letters

  1. Go to the record of the Gift Giver and click Write Letter from Template (under Tasks)
  2. Name the letter Gift Membership Thank You
  3. Click the Magnifying Glass to select the template, then hit the blue search button
  4. Select Gift Membership TY
  5. Set the interaction type to Letter and hit Save
  6. Click the green arrow button next to Attachment
  7. Click on the link to the letter
  8. Open the letter and review: You may need to type the name of the gift recipient in the letter
  9. Print the letter
  10. Repeat these steps to print your envelope, only choose Membership Envelope as your template


Printing Gift Memberships Notices

  1. Go to the record of the Gift Recipient and click Write Letter from Template
  2. Name the Letter Gift Membership Notice
  3. Click on Magnifying Glass to select the template, then hit the blue search button
  4. Click on Gift Membership 1 Card Notice or Gift Membership 2 Card Notice and hit Select
  5. Choose the interaction type of Letter and hit Save
  6. Click on the green arrow button next to Attachment
  7. Click on the link to the letter
  8. Open the letter and review: You may need to type the name of the gift giver in the letter and delete the time-stamp Altru adds to the expiration date on the cards
  9. Print the letter
  10. Repeat these steps to print your envelope, only choose Membership Envelope as the template
  11. Give the letters to the Manager of Membership and/or the Deputy Director, Operations to sign
