External Publicity
Policies and Procedures
All assets for external publicity must be submitted no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.
Without assets, there is no way to promote events externally
Assets should be submitted to publicity@mail.music.utexas.edu
Definitions
"External publicity" normally refers to publicity via the following mechanisms:
The BSOM website homepage image carousel and accompanying news story section
Social media (BSOM Facebook and Twitter accounts)
Constant Contact weekly email blast of BSOM events
Poster production (at the cost of the sponsoring faculty member)
Coverage in local media
"Assets" refers to:
Relevant images, such as headshots
Bios of the performers
A descriptive blurb of the performance
