ELP Graduate Working Hours

This email is for students who are seeking an exception to the graduate student work limits.

The Graduate School limits graduate students’ employment on campus to 20 hours per week for the first two long semesters, and 30 hours per week in subsequent semesters. A request to work additional hours beyond those limits requires us to submit a petition to the Graduate School. Please note: no requests to work more than 30 hours will be considered.

In preparation for the upcoming semester, if you have GRA/GA/TA/AI appointments this fall that exceed these limits, please submit this Working Hours form , so that the Graduate Advisor and Graduate Coordniator can work to get your petition submitted on time, so your appointments/pay checks will not be affected. If at all possible, please submit this form as soon as possible for the upcoming semester.
