Projects
Librarians always have projects available for interested GRAs. At the beginning of each semester, GRAs will receive a link to a Google Sheet with projects available for GRAs and observation and co-teaching opportunities. When you sign up for a project on this sheet, make sure that you email the librarian in charge of the project. Librarians will continue to add to this list throughout the semester, so be sure to check back periodically.
You can find that and other links on Sharepoint: https://sharepoint.lib.utexas.edu/userservices/tls/Pages/Info-for-TLS-GRAs.aspx
If there's a type of project you are interested in doing that is not on the list, reach out to a supervisor. They can usually put you in touch with a librarian who needs a similar project done.
You will be involved in multiple projects during a semester. How many depends on the time commitment required to complete each project. Usually, GRAs are involved in 3-4 projects and various observation and co-teaching opportunities throughout the semester.
