X-beam hole size for bolt: 5/16" x 24

Counterbore depth: 6mm (~1/4")

counterbore area: at least 30 mm for clearance for a socket wrench

current thicknesses:

• 1/4" for the total plate
• 0.15" from bottom to where bar touches plate
• 0.10" from where bar touches plate to top

New thickness:

• 1/2" for total plate
• 0.40" from bottom to where bar touches plate
• 0.10" from where bar touches plate to top
• want to counterbore 0.24" from underneath the plate where the bars sit
