Description/Purpose

This board takes car state data and sensor data. It logs this data locally and transmits it wirelessly in a robust manner.

MVP Requirements

• Inputs

  • Power: 12V, GND

  • CarCAN (1 kBps)

  • TelemetryCAN (terminating node) (3 kBps - dominated by IMUs)

• Outputs

  • 900MHz radio transceiver

  • LTE module

  • SD card

• Software

  • takes can messages from both can networks and sends the data to radio and LTE

Nice to have Requirements

• Flash over can (send info to the care wirelessly)

• MPPT off car (send to data acq leader, wirelessly transmit, compute algo, send back to car, telemetry sends to Array).
