The second figure demonstrates the linear velocity of that the head as input angle makes a complete rotation around the horizontal (with constant angular velocity as an input).

The last figure demonstrates the change in linear acceleration of the head as input angle makes a complete rotation around the horizontal. It is also important to note that the rapid acceleration seen in the graph is responsible for giving the illusion of the head "peeking."
