5. Electronics and Software (Group 23)
The entire mechanism is powered by a 12V volt motor that drives the bevel gears which simultaneously rotate the pizza plate and move the pizza cutter slider. An Arduino board controls the motor speed, where a joystick can be used to determine how fast the motor shaft spins.
