Search by PID limited to roughly 150 PIDs at a time for technical reasons.

Metadata fields currently accessible for batch-edit:

• Primary Contributor Name

• Primary Contributor Role Term

• Extent

• File Format

• Type

• Rights - Use and Reproduction

• Rights - Restriction on Access

• Source Collection Name

• Source Collection Local Identifier

• Source Collection URI

• Repository Name

• Date Created Start

• Date Created End

• Date Issued Start

• Date Issued End

• Key Date

Content in the metadata fields available for batch editing can only be overwritten, not deleted. (Problematic e.g. when trying to move date from issue date field to creation date field)
