Whole Communities Whole Health Wiki Home

Welcome to the Whole Communities Whole Health (WCWH) Wiki space.

Whole Communities Whole Health is one of three Bridging Barriers Research Development Initiatives from the Vice President for Research developed in 2018 when then UT-Austin President, Greg Fenves, in his State of the University address, charged the University community to:

...work together to explore ways to foster the healthy development of children and families struggling with adversity by fundamentally rethinking how cohort studies are conducted on social, behavioral and health issues. The aim is to develop new ways of establishing a strong scientific understanding of the contexts and the complex inter-relationships of the many factors affecting families, children and individuals in a community.

This wiki space is dedicated to providing: an overview of the WCWH project, research resources for involved faculty and staff, a calendar of events, and standard operating procedures.

Please use the page tree sidebar at the left to navigate this wiki. If you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to reach out to Sarah Smith, the research coordinator for the WCWH project.
