Go through your department to purchase SPSS. The purchaser will receive the Authorization Code and installation files. Your IT department will be able to assist with the installation.

Right-click on the download file and select “Run as administrator.”

On the pop-up window, fill in your admin credentials:

Username: .\EID-admin

Password: EID password

If you don’t have administrator credentials, please contact your IT help desk.

Click through the installation windows.

Make sure to select whether you accept the terms in the agreement.

Once it finishes installing, you can open SPSS Statistics.

Once SPSS Statistics opens, click “Launch License Wizard.”

Select the option, “Authorized user license.”

Type the Authorization Code provided by the purchaser.

Click “Add”

If there’s no problems, then you should get a message saying “Authorization succeeded.”

Click through the final windows and relaunch SPSS.
