Setting Up Duo Mobile on a New Device
Did you purchase a new phone? Follow these instructions!
If you got a new phone number and don’t have your old device, you may need to contact the ITS Service Desk (512-475-9400) to get a bypass code.
Getting to the Management Page
While on a computer, click this link http://bit.ly/utduo
Sign in with your UT EID and password.
When it asks you to enter a code, click the link that says, “Other options.”
Other Options
Click Manage devices to add a phone, Touch ID, and more.
Verify Your Identity
Phone call (Choose this option if you kept your number or have your old phone with you.)
Answer the phone call.
Press any number on the key pad.
Hang up.
Bypass code (Choose this option if the other verification methods don’t work)
Contact the ITS Service Desk to get the code.

Device Management Page
Once you’re at the device management page, click “I have a new phone” and it will provide you with a QR code.
Scanning the QR Code
Download the Duo Mobile app on your new phone.
Tap Add or Reconnect
Scan the QR Code from the Device Management page.
