Upon completion of entering your grades, please make sure you hit the green SUBMIT button and not SAVE, when you are completely done.

Grade Disputes

The Department of Rhetoric and Writing reviews appeals for final grades. We do not review instructors’ grades on individual assignments unless there is evidence that circumstances were out of the ordinary.

The Process
  1. Instructor. Student has discussion with instructor, providing evidence arguing for a grade change.

  2. Department. If student is not satisfied after talking with instructor, they may appeal to the Department of Rhetoric and Writing by filling out the Grade Appeal form and attaching documentation. The Chair or Associate Chair will then consider the appeal.
