Black Lives Matter & Public Health

Black Lives Matter (BLM) is a movement founded to address police brutality and social justice issues that result in Black people being murdered.

The Black Lives Matter movement's official website states they are committed to working together to imagine and create a world free of anti-Blackness, where every Black person has the social, economic, and political power to thrive. This mission has evolved to include addressing inequities in public health and healthcare.
