Connecting Zoom to PnC

If your account is brand new, steps 1-5 might not be necessary, try skipping to #6

  1. Sign-out of your current account on the website AND the app on your computer

  2. Go to the UT Zoom website (Zoom - The University of Texas at Austin ) and login using your EID/password/DUO

  1. You will be alerted that you are about to switch your account to this new version, click “Switch to New Account”, and then asked to “Acknowledge and Switch”

  1. After clicking those two things, you will get an email confirmation, click on the link in the email and you will get another page to again click “I Acknowledge and Switch”

  1. You will see a confirmation page and be asked to sign-in again, complete the sign-in just to make sure you can access the account (you can also use the SSO login on the app to sign-in with your UT Zoom account)

  1. Open Web PnC, click on your name in the top-right corner, and click on Preferences

  2. At the bottom of the Preferences menu, you should see a green button “Install Zoom”. Click on this.

  3. When prompted to login to Zoom, you must use the SSO option and type “utexas” into the Company Domain line (do NOT put your email). This will take you to the usual EID login page.

  1. A new window will open to confirm you want to connect your Zoom account to PnC. Check the box “Allow this app to use…” and then click the Allow button.

10)   The window will now say “Zoom has been authorized successfully.” You can close this window and go back to PnC.

11)   Find a scheduled telehealth appointment (or next time you are scheduled for one) and click the green “Create Zoom Link” button, if it works then you are ready.
