Captioning in Zoom
Use this guide to show, hide, customize, or turn off captions during a Zoom meeting.
Quick steps
Show captions: Click the Show Captions icon on the bottom menu bar.
If you do not see the captions option, click More on the bottom menu bar, then select Show Captions or Hide Captions.
Hide captions: Click Hide Captions on the bottom menu bar.
Edit caption options: Click the up arrow next to the captions button.
Select Pin to Toolbar to keep caption options visible on the bottom menu bar.
Select Caption Style to change how captions look.
Turn captions off as the host: Click the up arrow next to the captions button on the bottom menu bar, then select Host Tools for Captions.
Toggle Allow Closed Captions off. If captions are not available, you can also use this window to turn them on.
