Cisco Secure Client VPN
Cisco Secure Client VPN
What is the VPN?
The UT VPN Client is a virtual private network that emulates being physically on campus and connected to the wired and wireless UT network.
Connecting to the VPN will enable your system to:
Receive critical system updates, including security patches
For windows computers, check-in with the licensing server for validation
Some applications, such as Austin Disk, require connection to the VPN while working remotely. If you're having trouble accessing applications, connecting to the VPN could help.
It is essential for those working remotely at least once per week and for a 2-hour window that you connect your University-owned systems to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) service.
