LASSO (Longhorn Awards & Student Scholarship Opportunities)
I. Overview
LASSO (Longhorn Awards & Student Scholarship Opportunities) is UT Austin’s campus-wide scholarship management system and is centrally managed by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. COLA Faculty and staff can use LASSO to manage the departmental scholarship management cycle, including application collection, committee review and ranking, and scholarship awarding. It can also be used to issue scholarship awards via SS1’s in FRMS and to collect donor thank you letters. LASSO allows students to search, apply, and track scholarships offered by colleges, departments, and the university in one centralized online location.
