Master Lists: Stats Gathering

Takes Master List for each Provider and then pulls and matches COUNTER statistics from Intota Assessment.

You can find the lists in Box in the Ready for 2015 Stats folder

Data Gathering

1. You will be given the Master List data (master tab) for each Provider that needs stats pulled and integrated
2. You will need to pull the data from Intota for each one by following these steps:
   1. Log into Intota and go to Intota Assessment  > Reports > Ejournal Report (JR1)
   2. Fill in dates (2016-01 to 2016-12)
   3. Select the Provider that matches what's listed on the Notes tab and hit Apply
   4. Once it loads hit Export and save the file as as CSV file
3. Incorporate the data into the workbook:
   1. Open the CSV file from Intota Assessment
   2. Copy and paste the data into the counter tab
   3. Copy the ISSN Column D and paste it so that it's in Column A 

Match and Merge

Now you are ready to match the titles in the master list to the counter stats and pull over the stats data.

1. On the master tab add a new Column A for your matching
2. Use VLOOKUP to match against the counter tab data and include Columns A-N and use column 14 (aka N, aka Use column) as the data pull.
   1. Example: =VLOOKUP(B2,counter!$A$2:$N$19,14,FALSE)
3. Now sort the data by Column A (make sure to include/exclude your header depending on how you selected the data) so that any non-matches (#N/A) go to the bottom
4. Cut and paste as plain text the data in Column A into Column X (2016 Use) stopping where the data is no match
5. Now look the non-matching titles up in the counter tab by title and fill in the 2016 Use column if there is a match, if there isn't highlight that row in yellow

That's really it, save the file and put it back in Box in the my Review Folder.
