TAP/SMEAR Guidelines
Create a SMEAR ticket to:
- Order a new continuing resource (print, print + online, or online only)
- Cancel a continuing resource
- Order a new electronic database subscription
- Modify the format or other details of an existing continuing resource order
- Purchase an electronic resource with one-time funds
- Request a one-time purchase that can’t be ordered through BEVO or GOBI
- Start a license
Create a TAP ticket to:
- Report problems accessing electronic resources, including subscribed databases, e-journals, and e-books
- Report problems with Summon
- Report EZ proxy or IP authentication problems
- Report broken links, coverage errors, and other incorrect information in library search tools (360 Link, Summon, catalog, library website)
- Request that an open access resource be added to 360 Link or the catalog
- Request adds or changes to the Database in our Database A-Z on LibGuides
- Bibliographic record and item record updates
- Call number updates, call number not displaying
- Withdrawals, last item to be withdrawn
- Duplicate records, duplicate call numbers
- Call number reclassification
- Electronic resource linking (856 URL) problems
- Record suppressions and deletions
- CURRENT ISSUES message updates on serial records
